About Me

Welcome to my academic website! I received my undergraduate degree from Cornell University where I worked with Dr. Marianella Casasola. After undergrad, I went on to work with Dr. Koleen McCrink at Barnard College, Columbia University before obtaining my PhD under the mentorship of Dr. Lisa Feigenson at Johns Hopkins University.

The foundation of my research is based on understanding how young learners home in on what’s important to learn. More broadly, my research focuses on surprise, explanation, exploration and most recently, curiosity.

Here you'll find information on some of my research projects, as well as my CV. You can also stay up-to-date on my latest projects on Twitter!
