About Me

I’m a 5th year PhD student in Psychological & Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. I received my undergraduate degree in Human Development from Cornell University where I worked with Dr. Marianella Casasola. Under her mentorship I fell in love with the study of infant cognition and went on to work with Dr. Koleen McCrink at Barnard College, Columbia University before starting graduate training with Dr. Lisa Feigenson.

The foundation of my research is based on understanding how young learners home in on what’s important to learn. More broadly, my research focuses on surprise, explanation, exploration and most recently, curiosity.

Here you'll find information on some of my research projects, as well as my CV. You can also stay up-to-date on my latest projects on Twitter!
